A Joseph House Update from Fr. Dustin:

We know that the need is tremendous for creating a welcoming environment for those leaving prison. We get requests every week from those in need of a place to call home after leaving prison.

We are now thrilled that through the generosity of others who believe in our mission, we have purchased the house next-door and will soon welcome more brothers leaving prison!

Joseph House is all about creating a restorative community where we can encounter each other and so build our future together. It is our hope that over the next couple of months and years, we will build up a new home just as we have built up our home here at Joseph House through the love and support of you all.

Please consider supporting us monthly by donating as we are now expanding our community to 250 East Bradford Road.

Fr. Dustin Feddon
Founder/Executive Director of Joseph House

Fr. Dustin combines his dedication to those on the margins of society with his service to the Church. After spending years visiting the incarcerated in Florida’s massive prison system, he believes that the church has the resources and the community to assist those that are returning back into society from prison.

Fr. Dustin has a B.A. in Religion and Classics, as well as his Masters and Doctorate in Religion, all from Florida State University. He also has his Masters in Theological Studies from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Seminary in Boynton Beach, Florida. He was ordained as a Catholic Priest in the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee in 2016.

Fr. Dustin has spoken at various events and conferences including NY Encounter 2021, Appalachian Psychoanalytic Society 2020, Notre Dame Seminary (NOLA), and American Academy of Religion.  He serves on the board of Catholic Prison Ministry Coalition, TEMPO, and Big Bend After Reentry Coalition.
