Vocational Programming

Carpentry Practicum

Whether it be carpentry, computer science, or another trade, we hope to prepare those at Joseph House for meaningful work.

Our vocational programming includes guidance on workplace expectations; vocational skills and interests; opportunities for developing computer skills, resumes, interview skills and networking with future employers.

At Joseph House, we are creating opportunities to develop career interests and dreams.

Through your help Joseph House is able to provide support services to accompany those most affected by mass incarceration.

3rd Annual Gala

We would like to invite you to our 3rd Annual Joseph House Gala on Friday, November 5th, 2021. Our theme for this special night is: Learning to Dream.

Keynote speaker via Zoom: Sr. Helen Prejean will share her witness and testimony on creating justice through accompanying the least among us.  She is the author of the #1 New York Times Best Seller Dead Man Walking.

Other speakers include Bishop William Wack, and Chad Grady, former brother of  Joseph House.  

A plated dinner will be served in the Magnolia Room at the Capital City Country Club on 1601 Golf Terrace Dr. Tallahassee, FL 32301. Masks are required.
