As a nonprofit ministry of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Pensacola–Tallahassee, Joseph House is thrilled to be one of nine Tallahassee-area charities selected for GiveTLH 2022. #GiveTLH 2022: ‘A new start’: Joseph House shelters men released from prison.
The incredible efforts of GiveTLH, the Beatitude Foundation, and Rick Kearney advance nonprofit and community-enhancing initiatives throughout Tallahassee. Our selection confirms that the vital work of Joseph House enriches not only the lives of our residents but our beloved city as well. As an honoree, Joseph House will receive a generous $1,000 grant from the Beatitude Foundation and a 12-month membership to United Partners for Human Services.
In November, Tallahassee will have the opportunity to vote for Joseph House as their favorite profiled nonprofit and to make us one of three top honorees to receive an additional grant of $2,500, $5,000, or $10,000 and free registration and exhibitor booth space for the United Partners for Human Services Annual Conference! The first-place winner will also receive $5,000 in services from BowStern Marketing.
Joseph House is a volunteer-led organization of Tallahassee residents who echo in their service the principle of lawyer and author Bryan Stevenson (Just Mercy), who says, “each of us is more than the worst thing we’ve ever done.” If you’d like to learn more about our beautiful home and see it for yourself, we invite you to our Open House on Saturday, October 22, 2022.
Another great event to learn more about us is our annual Community Gala Fundraiser on Saturday, December 2, 2022.
When voting opens in November, please don’t forget to visit givetlh.com to vote for Joseph House.
