Join us for an evening of Peace and Justice

Join us for an evening of Peace and Justice on Friday, November 8th, at our first Joseph House Gala!

Our First Joseph House Gala

As we break bread together and celebrate our mission, we will hear the stories of residents, our 2020 Vision, and hear from Bishop William A. Wack, CSC and Tallahassee’s Public Defender, Andy Thomas.

It is our hope to begin expanding our services soon by building additional rooms so that we may welcome a few more brothers back into society. We are already anticipating our next resident before Christmas! The proceeds from this event will further our work serving those most in need by expanding our house.

We have received a generous pledge from a donor to match ALL that we raise at this event to make this a reality.

Another Joseph House lecture

Plan to join us for another Joseph House Lecture on Thursday, October 17th at 6PM for a light dinner followed by two presentations from Quintin Storey and Joe Sullivan as they share their experiences of incarceration – a combined 47 years of incarceration between the both of them. Both of our brothers have a compelling witness in their own journey through Florida’s prisons.

Upcoming Events

Later this winter our next Lecture will be from a local historian as he shares with us an in-depth history of Florida’s penal system in the late 19th and early 20th century.

The art of accompaniment

Volunteer

Some may volunteer by accompanying our residents through challenging tasks.

Others may wish to volunteer by assisting helping us around the house, creating a sense of belonging for all of us.

Finally, others may simply want to join us on occasion at our community events to learn more.

Responding to Material Needs

Donate

There are very real costs to create a home for those hoping to re-enter society after incarceration.

Joseph House, through the generosity of our donors, has been able to take concrete steps towards justice by restoring the dignity of those leaving the prison systems.

Sharing the Good News

Share

In less than one year our ministry has grown in leaps and bounds, impacting the lives of many for one simple reason: people are sharing the good news.

We encourage you to share Joseph House with your family, your friends, your community, inviting them to join us as we join those re-entering society after prison.
